Kenvin’s blog is a sense of calm when you see the picture at the top. I really enjoyed reading about all the projects he did with garage band and with his passion, music.

Luis’s blog is all in a neat layout. He puts both the original copy and final copy of his projects. I enjoyed all the photo shop projects he did. It was a good laugh as I went farther down the page and looked at his blog.

Projects:

Miranda

I really enjoyed Miranda’s Project 5. She created a very cool, old style photo but she intended on repair a black and white photo. I enjoyed the colors she used and what it turned out as.

Yon

I enjoyed looking through Yon’s projects but I really enjoyed his project 6. It was both creative and fun-filled. It was unique and I would have enjoyed to learn photo shop as well as he did.

I enjoyed walking capital lake and taking the pictures of the fountain. I enjoyed project 2 also because it was in garage band. The problems I faced with this project was that when Sam would try and walk along and take pictues at the same time, most of them turned out blurry or not even clear. I am glad to be done with it but the next time I do time lap photography I am going to know how to do it better.

With this final project I am going to be playing around with time lapse photography. I will be using the CHS mascot, aka Roy the Cougar, in time lapse photography as a video. I am choosing to do this project to put the video on you tube and help boost school spirit for next year. I hope to get the real costume but if I don’t I will be using a stuffed animal.

Time line:

Work with a camera everyday with someone (depending if I’m in costume) or work with set and stuffed animal.

Project 6 was a continuation of project 5 in iMovie.

Unfortunately I did not have enough time to finish my video. But I did learn a lot through this experience. I learned how to edit the videos color, contrast, speed, transition, and how to insert a text slide. This project is like power point only you can do so much more. I am pleased with all that I learned but diapointed with not completing a video. I hope my project 7 will be completed in the amount of time given to me. I am glad I choose to do iMovie as my project 5 and 6. It is something I can use down the road in life.

I went to Capital Lake and took various pictures of the area. I learned to use Focal Length, Aperture and Depth of Field, Controlling Depth of Field, and Exposure and Light Meters. By reading the four rules I selected, I began to see why photography is so completely challenging and always changing. When taking pictures at Capital lake, I had to place myself in the right angle in order to follow the rules as best I could. The main problem I faced was being able to capture the right picture.
